Formed when Guild Wars was first released, the Wizardry Players Guild is home to a solid group of members whose purpose is to have fun in the game. First and foremost, we are a casual guild, in that we do not have any requirements for membership. We encourage everyone to play as they feel comfortable and enjoy the game however they like. And all against the backdrop of a bunch of light-hearted and fun men and women who do not shy away from lending a helping hand.

WPG is a primarily North American guild, with active members ranging from the East Coast to the West Coast (GMT -5 to GMT -8). We are also the leader of our Kurzick Alliance, home to approximately 150 players, the majority of whom are active players. Our main focus is the PvE aspect of GW, though some of our members do indulge in PvP activities at times.

We have an extensive, active forum (http://4guildwars.7.forumer.com/ ), which serves both as a conduit to organize events as well as fostering a sense of community for our members. The forum also has a large amount of information about the game, including builds, strategies and personal anecdotes from members. Not to mention our own peculiar digressions.

Guild activities are organized on a weekly basis, though there is something going on every day of the week. The weekends are generally reserved for the more involved quests and missions. We also have a Ventrilo server available, which is one more place to hang out and interact with fellow guildies.
